Khet & Co. was born from a place of love, love for my family and the world.
It started when my wife became diabetic. Managing blood
sugar was a priority, but finding high-quality, nutrient-dense ingredients was
extremely difficult.
Months of searching across websites and forums, through
health stores and farmers’ markets, brought me into a whole new world of grains,
spices, legumes and plants — some known but many obscure.
But as I dug deeper, I couldn’t help but question: why is it
so difficult for the regular person to find these things? Why do I need to jump
through hoops just to feed my family well? Why is good food so expensive?
That’s when I founded Khet & Co.: a company dedicated to
the consumer. Educating them, supplying them with quality produce from all
corners of the world.
We work directly with smallholder farmers to provide you
with responsibly and regeneratively farmed, unadulterated, single-origin
produce. Not for profit — no, it would be easy to apply a premium markup on our
goods — but to feed the world well.
Because good food isn’t a privilege;
it’s a right.
