From named farm to your kitchen. Every step traceable.

Sourcing directly from India isn't just about price. It's about quality you can verify, supply chains you can trust, and ingredients that stay fresh—because nothing sits in a warehouse between harvest and your kitchen.

ADVANTAGE 1

Quality You Can Verify

Every batch from Khet & Co. is tested at an independent NABL-accredited laboratory against EU MRL standards—the world's strictest pesticide residue limits.

You don't have to ask for the test certificate. It's on the QR code on every pack, available before you order.

Every batch also carries a harvest date—not a "packaged on" date. You can calculate exactly how old your product is from the moment it left the farm. No guessing. Just facts.

ADVANTAGE 2

Farm Direct. Nothing In Between.

Most Indian agri-commodities reach buyers through a chain of middlemen—importers, regional distributors, wholesale traders—each adding margin and removing traceability.

By the time it reaches you, nobody in that chain can tell you which farm it came from, when it was harvested, or what it tested for.

We skip that chain entirely.

We source directly from named farms through KhetAgro Innovations Pvt Ltd, our India supply entity. One link between the farm and your kitchen.

One fewer link means:

  • Fresher product — no warehouse ageing between source and you
  • Better pricing — no intermediary margin built into the cost
  • Full accountability — we know which farm, which batch, which harvest date, what the lab tested
  • Verifiable provenance — because we were there at the source
ADVANTAGE 3

Trade Benefits You Probably Didn't Know About

India has signed preferential trade agreements with over 50 countries and trading blocs.

If you're importing from these markets, Indian-origin products—spices, rice, pulses, oils—may attract significantly reduced or zero import duty compared to the same products sourced elsewhere.

On a USD 10,000 monthly order, a 5% duty reduction is USD 500 saved every month. That's USD 6,000 per year. For the same quality ingredient. From a better supply chain.

STEP 1

We Select the Farm

Not regions. Not brokers. Named farms with real farmers behind them.

Our sourcing team visits farms personally, selecting based on three things: soil quality, farming practices, and the farmer's willingness to be fully transparent. Every farm is logged with GPS coordinates in our system—so you always know exactly where your ingredients come from.

Khet & Co.
STEP 2

We harvest on a real date

Your ingredients have a harvest date, not just a "packaged on" date.

Fresh produce airfreights within 24–48 hours of harvest. Dried goods stay fresh because you can calculate exactly how old the product is from harvest to your kitchen. You're not guessing. You're knowing.

Khet & Co.
STEP 3

We test every batch independently

A sample from every batch goes to an independent NABL-accredited lab before it leaves India.

We test against EU MRL standards—the world's strictest pesticide residue limits. The test certificate uploads to your QR code immediately. If a batch fails, it doesn't ship. No exceptions, no compromises.

STEP 4

We ship with complete documentation

Every delivery includes everything you need:

  • Certificate of Origin (for applicable trade agreements)
  • FSSAI Export Certificate (Indian food safety)
  • Phytosanitary Certificate (for fresh produce)
  • EU MRL Lab Test (proof of safety)
  • QR Traceability Manifest (every SKU on your shipment)

You get transparency, not paperwork.

STEP 5

You scan. You verify. You trust.

When your delivery arrives, scan the QR code on any pack.

Thirty seconds on your phone. See the farm, the farmer, the harvest date, and the lab results. At point of receipt. No waiting for certificates to arrive separately. No guesswork. Just facts.

Building a Regenerative Food Future

At KhetAgro Innovations Private Limited, sustainability is not an initiative — it is our operating system. From seed to shelf, from farm to fork, every decision we make is grounded in our responsibility to people and the planet.

We don’t just aim to reduce harm — we are here to restore balance. This is our Sustainability Framework.

1. Regenerative Agriculture at the Core

We partner with smallholder farmers to transition from extractive farming to regenerative systems that heal the land.

  • Soil Health First: Composting, cover cropping, and crop rotation practices supported across all farms.
  • No Chemicals. No Compromise.: Zero use of synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilisers.
  • Local Wisdom, Global Science: Farmer training combines indigenous knowledge with agronomic support and climate-resilient techniques.

2. 100% Traceable, Lab-Tested Food Supply

We ensure every product can be traced back to its origin — and verified for purity.

  • End-to-End Transparency: Batch-level tracking of every product.
  • Independent Testing: Third-party lab certifications for safety, quality, and authenticity.
  • QR-Enabled Consumer Access: Coming soon: scan your product, meet your farmer, see the journey.

3. Farmer-Centric Systems

Sustainability starts with justice — and we start with those who grow our food.

  • Fair Pricing Models: No exploitation. We work on pre-agreed prices that ensure dignity and profit for farmers.
  • Women in Agriculture: Strong preference for working with women-led collectives and enabling financial agency.
  • Skill + Support: Ongoing agronomy guidance, tech tools, and direct engagement with our field teams.

4. Packaging & Waste Reduction

We are working toward a plastic-free future, without compromising food integrity.

  • Target: 100% Plastic-Free Packaging by 2030
  • Compostable, biodegradable, and reusable packaging solutions already being piloted under Khet & Co.
  • Bulk refill systems and low-waste retail channels in development

5. Climate & Ecological Accountability

We measure what matters — and act with integrity.

  • Carbon Mapping: Tracking emissions across sourcing, processing, and logistics
  • Water Stewardship: Promoting drip irrigation, rainwater harvesting, and water-efficient crops
  • Biodiversity Metrics: Evaluating impact on local flora/fauna in sourcing regions

6. Consumer Education & Advocacy

We don’t want passive consumers. We want conscious collaborators.

  • Radical Label Honesty: No vague claims. Every ingredient, every process, explained clearly.
  • Public Awareness Campaigns: Regular content on food literacy, greenwashing, and ethical consumption
  • School & Community Engagement: Supporting young consumers to understand food systems early

7. Circular Economy Partnerships

We are building local and global ecosystems that reduce waste, extend value, and multiply impact.

  • Agri-Waste Repurposing: Supporting micro-enterprises that convert waste to compost or bio-materials.
  • Collaborative Logistics: Shared infrastructure for greener transport and warehousing.
  • Community First: Sourcing as locally as possible to reduce emissions and build resilience.

How We Hold Ourselves Accountable

  • Annual Sustainability Report – Transparent progress against environmental, social, and governance (ESG) goals.
  • Third-Party Audits – Independent reviews of sourcing, testing, and carbon metrics.
  • Advisory Council – A rotating panel of farmers, scientists, consumers, and climate experts advising our board.

Our Commitment

We don’t inherit the land from our ancestors — we borrow it from our children. At The Naturals Food Co., sustainability isn’t a choice. It is a duty.

We farm with care. We trade with fairness. We grow with purpose.
